1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Redecor AI mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by ReDecor AI ("Redecor", "we", "us"). By creating an account, installing the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or 13 in jurisdictions where 13 is the minimum digital age of consent) to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that nothing prevents you from entering into a binding agreement with us.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to update it if it changes.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings; deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Licence to use Redecor AI

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You may use AI-generated images you create with the Service for your own personal and commercial design purposes (e.g. sharing renderings with a client, a contractor, or on social media), subject to the limitations in Sections 6 and 7.

5. Your content & the rights you grant us

"User Content" means anything you upload to or generate through the Service — source photos of your space, generation choices, AI-generated images, messages you send to AI designers, and any image you attach to a chat.

You keep ownership of your User Content. By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely to operate the Service for you — for example, to generate redesigns, run designer chats, save your history, and display public designs you have marked as such (see Section 8).

You promise that you have the right to upload each photo you upload — in particular, that you own it or have permission from the rights-holder, and that the photo does not depict identifiable people who have not consented to its use.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload photos of people without their consent, photos of children, intimate or sexual imagery, or any content that infringes third-party rights;
  • generate hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, or otherwise unlawful imagery;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • attempt to remove, obscure, or alter watermarks applied to free-tier outputs;
  • scrape, mass-download, or systematically harvest the Explore feed or any other part of the Service;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or prompts from the app, except where this is expressly permitted by mandatory law;
  • probe, scan, or test the Service for vulnerabilities, or interfere with its security mechanisms (App Check, rate limits, authentication);
  • use the Service to train, evaluate, fine-tune, or develop a competing AI model;
  • resell access to the Service or use it on behalf of undisclosed third parties.

We may remove User Content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

7. AI-generated content

Redecor AI uses third-party AI models to generate images and chat replies. You understand and accept that:

  • Outputs are produced by a probabilistic model. They may be inaccurate, inconsistent with reality, or visually similar to outputs generated for other users from comparable prompts.
  • Outputs are not professional advice. Designer chats are a creative assistant, not a replacement for an architect, interior designer, surveyor, or any other licensed professional. Do not rely on them for structural, electrical, safety, or regulatory decisions.
  • Originality is not guaranteed. The same or a similar output may be produced for another user. We make no promise that any output is unique, original, or eligible for copyright.
  • Free-tier outputs are watermarked. A diagonal logo watermark is baked into images generated on the free tier. Removing it is a breach of these Terms (Section 6).
  • You are responsible for how you use outputs. If you publish, share, or rely on a generated image, you do so at your own risk.

8. Public designs & the Explore feed

At step 4 of the generation flow you choose a visibility for each new design:

  • Public (the default) — the generated image and its structured recipe (category, space, style, palette) become eligible for the Explore feed and may be viewed, liked, and used as inspiration ("Try this design") by other signed-in users. Your source photo is never shown in Explore.
  • Private (Premium) — the design and its recipe are visible only to you.

By marking a design as Public, you grant us and other Redecor AI users a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that design and its recipe within the Service. You can change a design's visibility to Private at any time; future Explore queries will exclude it, although cached or recently-viewed entries may persist briefly.

"Like" counts are aggregate and non-personal. We may remove any Public design from Explore for any reason, including suspected abuse or rights infringement.

9. Subscriptions & payment

Some features (including unlimited generations and Private visibility) require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed by RevenueCat:

  • Your subscription begins when the store confirms the purchase. Renewals are processed by the store at the price and cadence shown at the point of sale.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, according to their policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.
  • If your subscription expires or is cancelled, you keep access to designs you have already generated but premium features (unlimited generation, Private visibility, no watermark) are disabled until you re-subscribe.
  • If you are an EU consumer, statutory withdrawal rights may apply at the store level; please consult the App Store or Google Play terms.

10. Fair-use limits & quotas

To prevent abuse, protect the Service for everyone, and keep AI-provider costs sustainable, we apply per-user limits on both image generations and AI designer chat messages. The exact limits depend on your tier (free or Premium) and may be tuned over time. When you reach a limit, the app shows you a message and pauses new requests until the limit window resets.

Need more than your current limit? If you are a legitimate user and your work needs a higher quota — for example, you are a designer using Redecor AI on a real project — please email contact@redecor.ai from the address tied to your account and tell us how you'd like to use the Service. We review these requests individually and will raise your limit when we can.

We may reduce, suspend, or revoke any quota increase if we detect abuse, sharing of accounts, automated traffic, or any behaviour that breaches these Terms.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service — including the Redecor AI name and logo, the app's source code, UI, illustrations, system prompts, the Explore curation logic, and our brand assets — is owned by ReDecor AI or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited licence in Section 4, these Terms do not transfer any rights in our intellectual property to you.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReDecor AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 50.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReDecor AI, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your User Content, (b) your breach of these Terms, (c) your misuse of any AI-generated output, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Suspension & termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access — temporarily or permanently — if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, posed a risk to the Service or other users, or if we are required to do so by law. We will try to give you notice unless doing so would be harmful or impractical.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (User Content licences for already-published Public designs, intellectual-property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after the change becomes effective, you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent Polish courts. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country where you live, and you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
